Introduction
The Western Club is a private members club that holds a Club Gaming permit which allows them to offer poker tournaments for unlimited stakes and unlimited prizes.
The club also offers Kalooki, Backgammon, Chess Bridge, Snooker and Pool.
Membership to this club is free and applications are accepted by email; the only requirement for membership is valid photographic and address identification.

The event starts at 2:30pm with 2 x 2000 Chips.
Monday - £50 Texas Hold 'em NL Double Chance
The event starts at 8:30pm with 2 x 6000 Chips.
Tuesday - £30 Texas Hold 'em NL
The event starts at 2:30pm and players are allowed 1 Re-buy or 1 Add-on 3000 + 4000 Chips for £10.
Tuesday - £100 Texas Hold 'em NL Deep Stack
Players have a starting stack of 10000 Chips for the event that starts at 8:30pm.
Wednesday - £20 + 10 Texas Hold 'em PL Bounty
The event starts at 2:30pm with a starting stack of 3000 Chips.
Wednesday - £40 Texas Hold 'em NL Deep Stack
The event starts at 8:30pm with a starting stack of 8000 Chips.
Thursday - £15 Texas Hold 'em NL
Players are allowed 1 Re=buy and 1 Add-on for 2000 + 3000 Chips for the event that starts at 2:30pm.
Thursday - £10 Texas Hold 'em NL Rebuys (1 Hour)
The event starts at 8:30pm and players get a Double Chip Add-on of 3000 + 3000 Chips.
Friday - £30 Texas Hold 'em NL
The event starts at 2:30pm with 5000 Chips.
Friday - £20 + 10 Texas Hold 'em NL Bounty
The event starts at 8:30pm with a starting stack of 6000 chips.

Applied online, the waited 48 hours for my membership to become live, turned up with my passport and that was it, i was a member.
They have tounaments every evening most of which run well into the small hours so be warned, if your doing well you may be pulling a sickie for work the next day, theres also tournaments every afternoon except saturdays and the buyins are between £15-£100 some of which have rebuys, addons and second/third chances.
The cash games are always on and were £50 & £25 to sit down on the times i have played.
The club also has many computer terminals for online playing and Backgammon boards for hire.
Upstairs there are Snooker & Pool tables and theres also a bar and kitchen knocking out a fairly decent looking standard of food.
All in all the club is a clean and friendly place with excellent facilities including free parking and I would recommend anyone interested in live poker to pay this place a visit.
