Introduction
The Fox Poker Club on Shaftesbury Avenue opened its doors to the West End on 24th September 2010.
Its prime location and open plan glass windows give players stunning views out across Chinatown and Theatreland. The Fox Poker Club is an up market club with luxurious interior which includes a state of the art card room, as well as a members Lounge area and Restaurant serving hot food and alcoholic drinks.
Fox Poker Club promises to bring poker to the people and is aimed at players of all levels. Learn to play sessions run regularly alongside a full and wide range of tournament structures and buy-ins. Despite being open only a matter of months, Fox have already successfully hosted the month long, PKR sponsored London Calling festival. Following this they hosted the London Leg of the Paradise Poker Tour with a total jackpot of £125,000. A Main event runs monthly, with a £300 buy in on days 1a and 1b.
This is strictly a poker only club with the only other gaming distraction to players being some 20 slot machines throughout the venue.
The Club have plans to become one of the biggest card rooms in the country and will host high stakes low-limit cash games and become the prime location for major televised tournaments.
With a management team having experience within organisations such as Gala, Ladbrokes and Harrahs the club is set to interest many people in the area. Plans are also in progress for opening similar clubs in Birmingham and Bournemouth.
To register at London's first fully licensed Poker Club you'll need to pay a £10 fee for lifelong membership.

Ive played here 3 or 4 times now.A very good location in London.The club itself has a very good layout and nice to play in.Acouple of the dealers are new by the looks of it as a few miss deals like bringing the river out before 2 people have acted.They take a rake out of every pot at the cash tables.Genrally a very nice friendly club the dealers are friendly and helpfull.Some nice lookers alsoi would rec for there place for any standard of poker player.

First visit to Fox last night. Friendly staff, competent dealers and it's nice to have a London venue which is solely poker orientated. Nottingham is a long, long trip!
Some inexperienced players who the dealers were patient with and the usual handful of trash-talkers without much ability. Nice to win their chips.
All in all, nice new venue and a positive experience.

what a great venue.. I've played around various back street rooms in Casinos and even made the dreaded trip to Nottingham to play touneys there.
This is much the best place to play serious poker in LOndon.. It has bar and food and even slots galore, although they seems a bit mean on the payouts. ..

Enjoyed my first visit to Fox Poker Club today, staff really friendly, good poker layout/set up/ structure, on the whole, a really good poker experience
